Purpose of SGM is to “mainstream” human stories, in other words to frame stories of people around the world in such a way so that an audience that would not necessarily be interested does tune in. Its about breaking barriers and creating connections that we might not know exist, it’s about smashing through man-made walls, preconceptions and creating empathy and understanding. It’s about surprise, adventure, and all the ups and downs of life.
